Horse!
It was a horsey kind of a day. First, we went to our local shopping centre for a nice chicken lunch. And then Mum had a coffe near that splendid merry-go-round that I admire. I stand or sit in front of it and watch the horses. Ocassionally, I even touch one. The one thing I really don't appreciate is people trying to sit me on one: scary. It takes me a good 15 minutes to really enjoy them, just the same as M's coffee break. Then we went to the library, and it turned out that they had a rocking horse, with a nice boy who rocked it for me. I had a great time rolling on beanbags and coming back for a bit more of horse gazing. And then we went quickly to the shopping centre that was near the library and there was another merry-go-round. M was getting a bit less helpful (must be a long, tiring day for her), but I still managed to get her to stop for my usual gazing time. Altogether, a satisfactory day. Catherine

Sounds like a great day of horsing around, Catherine!
Since then you've had a full weekend with Babcia (grandmother) visiting from Canberra, and also you've been sick with a nast cough. It took Dad quite a while to settle you back to sleep last night at 1am, reading your favourite story about the owl babies several times while cuddling monkey. Finally you settled in Mum and Dad's bed while playing with the flashlight on the wall (helped by Dad) and re-iluminating all the glow-in-the-dark stars and planets. You seemed a bit happier this morning before I left for work.
Get better soon! Love, Daddy.
