What a weekend!
What a weekend I had. Dad took me to my first session of Mini-Maestros. They got me to do all kinds of weird stuff (Dad followed along too). The weirdest was pretending to be on horses while holding onto a hoop - I mean really! But it was fun once you suspend disbelief. Plus, the maracas and bells and things were fun (but the lady wouldn't let me play with her guitar - she was good at it, though!). When we got home Dad helped me play with his dumbells. We had great fun, with me groaning like Dad as I tried to lift one of them (Daddy was helping me a bit). This exercise thing is great. I don't know what all those mums and dads complain about. Later, we wented to the Boudville family to make a big sushi lunch. I had california rolls (well, some rice and avocado ... lots of avocado, actually). They even had The Wiggles on video. I was really good. I lasted the whole afternoon with a smile. But when Dad and Uncle Peter started working on a computer I knew it would take hours for them to finish, so I let them know what I think. 5 minutes later Daddy told Uncle Peter we had to go. Sunday was more sedate, and Dziadzio came over. Spent lots of time in the garden, but had to wait while Daddy and Dziadzio replaced the sand in my sandbox. Seems like some naughty cat went in there instead of using his nappy. I said to Daddy that I didn't mind really, but he didn't seem to understand (he passed me a dummy, thinking that was what I wanted). Anyhow, all the adults around here decided that the sand HAD to be changed, so I have nice new sand in my sandbox. Oh, one more thing I'm doing now is to indicate body parts. Mummy says nose, and I point at my nose. This works for ear, oko (eye in Polish) and foot. Ah. Now it's Monday, and I get to have fun with my Nanny and her kids! ~ Catherine
