finger puppets
Made a finger puppet with mummy today. It has shiny eyes and stars at the bottom of its skirt. Mummy did the sewing, and I did all the hard work: - played with the stars and gave them to mummy - checked the embroidery cotton - pulled at everything to make sure it is stiched on properly - tipped out all spools of thread (lots and lots: fun) - put them in again - tipped them out - unravelled a spool - and another and then the puppet was ready. yeah! What fun! Did Mummy show you how to put it on your finger? Did you give a puppet show to the cat (I'm sure Pippin will like THAT). Next, you'll have to try giving your little finger friend a bot-bot, then a dummy. That should get some suitable appreciation from everyone!
By the way, how are you feeling today after your long protest in the middle of the night? It's just not fair when these pesky parents don't give in and let you into their bed! Oh well ... at least you got an extra bottle out of it.
