Toddler tiffs and other tidbits
Today, Gwyneth and her Mummy came over to visit. We spent a long time looking at each other and then played our separate games. Gwyn has grown up a bit too, and is all smiles instead of that very discerning, slightly disapproving look she used to have. At one point during the visit, Gwyn came up to me and spoke at length. It sounded nothing like what Mummy and Daddy sound like, and I couldn't make head or tail of it. When I got tired of listening I swatted her with my little plastic shovel (it wasn't that hard a wack, really). Gwyn got the picture and was stoic about it. Hmmm, she has character, I'll give her that. I can count to three now. Never mind that it's half English and half Polish. I also say "STAH!" when Mummy and Daddy sing "Twinkle-twinkle little star". But only if I feel like it, or if I can resist the giggles of being thrown into the spotlight for that one word! I'm stroking Cat very gently now, and am proud of showing this when asked to demonstrate. I love Cat. I face-cuddle her as often as she'll let me. Anyhow, enough about my wonderous capabilities. I hadn't had much sleep when Gwynie came round, so I fell asleep after she left and I didn't see much of Dadda. I woke up for a little while when it was night time and then went back to bed. No fair!
Comments:
I hope you get some sleep during today so I can see more of you tonight, Sweet-pea.

Love,

Daddy
