Rooten morning
Nothing went quite right today. We wented to the play centre, so that was good. But just as I got nice and dreamy floating in the ball pit (germ pit, aunty Ceri calls it), two men came in and started packing all the balls! Totally destroyed my Wa. Waaa! I went and got mummy. After that, nothing in the toddler enclosure was quite right. I mean, there is this nice foam mountain, and I got up all four steps all by myself and mummy showed me how to slide down on my tummy, but my heart wasn't in it. I finally dragged mummy to the jumping castle and made her jump. BUT she stopped after only 15 minutes or so! She was weird: she took off her jumper and got all a bit wet, and then just plain refused to jump any more. So I staged a tantrum. After that, I was so tired, I couldn't really stop. I held her hand for reassurance and wented on and on and on. Finally, M. put my shoes on, gave me a dummy and took me to the car. There, she gave me another dummy for my hand, and that made it all better. BUT she tooked away the second dummy when we got to the shopping centre. So I staged a tantrum, but a short one this time. We bought a few things and got a chicken for lunch. I finally made mum understand that I want to gnaw on the wing, so that was fine. I would have preferred a drumstick, though. Then we went home and mum suggested a bottle and a sleepy-baby. BUT I hit my head on the door as I skipped after her for the bottle. And THEN I hit my head again on the cupboard door when she was making the bot-bot. Snif! Finally, got my bottle and went to sleep. I guess I'm still tired after last week's excitement. Catherine
