Babcia's visit
Babcia (Mummy's mummy) visited from Canberra today. I remember her from last time she visited, and we had fun. I also liked it when Dziadzio arrived later in the day because he was away for such a long time for some reason. One day he just stopped coming in the afternoons! But now that he's back, when he leaves to go to his house, I cry and worry that maybe he will go away for a long time again. When Daddy arrived, I didn't run to meet him immediately like I usually do. I rummaged and found a Grissini stick I'd been storing, and THEN I ran to Dadda so I could feed him with it. As Daddy carried me to the rest of the family, I grabbed his cheek to 'force' him to kiss Mummy a few times. Then I forced him to kiss Babcia. Daddy resisted kissing Dziadzio though, despite all my efforts. He shook hands instead. I was sad when Dziadzio left with Babcia. Quite some time after they'd left I was still asking after him, wanting to know that he hadn't gone away for a long time again. By the way, at nappy-change time I pointed at my nappy and said "Nappy" and made a raspberry to indicate what a bottom does in the nappy. Daddy was impressed. He was also impressed when I said "chair", pointing to the chair, and "table" when pointing to the table. Mummy taught me that at least a day ago - get with it, Dadda! K.
