pleasant
Yes, a pleasant morning was had. I watched all my favourites and we went to the shops to buy oranges for the cake for Mummy's nameday tomorrow (why do I get the feeling that I'll not get to eat it?). On the way we visited the boordas, but there weren't many. So we went on. A nice, quick shop - didn't even get bored. On our way back we wented to feed boordas again. Still no luck. But we sat on the wall in nice sunshine, munched on fresh bread, watched the lake and the men on ride-on mowers, looked through quilting magazines and had a very civilised time. Pity that quilting magazines are so hard for me to handle: they need to think of a smaller format. Then we wented home, put teddy on a potty (he is almost completely toilet-trained and knows exactly what one does on a potty). Then cooked for teddy and fed teddy, and gave him water, and sat him at the table and cooked for him some more. Then we had luch, a bit of playdough play and sleepy-baby. Decided that mummy is good for cuddles, but one has to go to sleep in one's bed from time to time in order not to spoil her too much. So I did. Catherine

Dear Kasia,
This is Daddy. Sounds like a great day! But just you wait. Tomorrow you'll share Mummy's name day too. When you're older you can choose which one you'd rather celebrate.
That Teddy is doing very well as far as the potty goes! Well done. And you're cooking for him too.
Love,
Daddy
