Introductory physics
I spent most of the morning investigating the properties of liquids. Concepts investigated: - pouring - splashing - mopping - dripping - soggy feet. Very educational and most fun. Mummy provided water supplies and by the end of it the whole kitchen was wet. Great stuff. Lots of things happening lately. Went to two great parties last weekend. Sat on a neigh! Also saw a Christmas train and narrowly avoided getting too close to Santa. Saw a great band in the City and danced, danced, danced. Think I like Christmas Catherine

Hello, Kasia.

This is Daddy.
Mummy thankfully captured your experiments on film, so we can all enjoy it! (There is a suspicious wet spot on the loungeroom carpet - I hope this is related to the water and nothing more sinister!).
Yes, on Tuesday this week, Mummy and I took you to Myer after work. You loved the train they have going round and round on level 5 (though you were adamant that you didn't want to go on it!). Last year you enjoyed sitting on Santa's knee. But this year the old guy in his grotto was scary, wasn't he? (Might have been the rather dead-looking reindeer lying at his feet by the fire.) So Mummy had to sit next to Santa with you on her lap. You also loved it at Federation Square. We went there to see the Christmas tree display of trees from around the world, but we didn't get further than the plaza outside (with its million stroller-bouncing steps) because of a trio of musicians playing boppy traditional music. You took one look at another 2-year old girl (named 'Jess') who was dancing, and you joined her. In no time at all, you two were actually dancing together in front of everyone. Your shyness at mini-maestros was completely forgotten as you wandered many meters away while the pair of you danced about. Very cute!
Love, Dad

Yes, Dadda, it was water. I started my experiments on coffee table, and only got relocated later to the kitchen. What did you think it was?
Well, actually it was water with lemon that Mummy thought I would like to drink.
But that's another story.
Love,
Catherine
