A big trek
We wented on a BIG TREK to the shops this morning. Dadda took the car and my stroller in the boot as well, so it looked liek if I wanted to go to the shops I'll have to actually GO to the shops. All the way! It turned out quite well. We got dressed and walked out hand-in-hand. We stopped at all the streets and then said 'go' and went across. We also did it every 5 steps along he pavement. Fun. Then we went by the playground. Mum helped me get up the slide to the car wheel and I drove for a while. Then I slid down (pretty much by myself, Mummy just made sure that I sat down before going down) and went to check the house with the doggie. I waited a bit by the fence, and the doggie came to the window and barked and barked. Yea! After the doggie got bored barking, I tried to roll down the slope. I got something wrong, though, because it didn't work. The rolling just didn't roll. Mummy said that I tried to roll in a wrong direction. Don't quite get it. Then I wented back up the slide and drove the car some more. Then slid down. Walked all along the wall around the playground holding onto Mummy's hand. Then walked on the edge of the grassy area: all by myself. Then we went to the lake. We stopped at each road and crossed quickly. I found some yellow flowers on the way, and some yucky rubbish (didn't pick it up: good girl, huh?). At he lake, I sat on the wall and waited for the booordas. They didn't come. We threw woodchips in the air pretending they are yum, but there were just no birds, so that didn't work. Then I picked some flowers that grew near water. Got mummy to throw them in (looked pretty, that). Walked up a bit and down a bit. Sat on the wall. Slid from the wall. Got mummy to help me up and got down again. Repeated 10 times. Getting good at getting off high places. I'm sure it'll come in handy. Then we walked back home. Stopping on the playground on the way. Now sleeping it off. Catherine
