Guarding Daddy
Life has been good with Dadda here, but I've got a feeling that it can't last. Dadda WILL disappear at some point, I'm sure of it. So I make him give me all the bottles, cuddle up to him (and mummy too, you never know) in bed for sleeping, and generally keep tabs on him. If I'm good at guarding him, maybe he'll not go away at all? Been playing in the garden today with dadda (he makes nice holes in soil, almost better than my best sandpit ones), and then wented shopping in the afternoon. Mummy wouldn't let me play with greeting cards. I was only going to read some of them. Mean. Figured out the best way of getting parents out of bed. I claim that there is poo in the nappy and ask for a change. Usually works. Other times, I avoid changing nappies strenuously - it is just such a stupid reason to stop playing. We've been having some arguments on the change table. I usually lose, but I don't give in easily. Mummy is mentioning something about sitting on a potty, but I'm not quite sure I want to. It's quite tricky to get on: I tend to end up with one leg inside it, and that's the last thing I want to do when poo is coming. Cat is being nice lately. Let's me cuddle up and comes to me for a rub. I even got a little lick this morning. Very half-hearted, but still. Had to kick Dadda off my chair yesterday. Really! It's mine and I need it to watch the Wiggles. No sense of propriety. Wonder what we'll do tomorrow. Catherine
