Market fun and puddles
Wented to market today, but there were no piggies. Nor were there any sheep, chooks or moo-cows for that matter. Mummy said that it was because of the rain. But there WERE puddles! So much fun. Mummy let me jump into all the muddy puddles (which I really appreciated), but I could see that she was cringing with each splash. I thought I was very good and patient, too, since I had to wait while Mummy queued up for vegies (and they were nice too!). Mummy put me to bed, but when I woke up, Dziadzio was there but not Mummy. NOT IMPRESSED! I cried and cried and cried. Didn't want to TALK to Dziadzio (but I did feel like saying a few choice words to Mummy). Dziadzio tried to bribe me with food and saying that we would go shopping. I accepted only chocolate and made him carry me all the way to the shopping centre. The lady at the hot bread shop reminded me of the absence of mother. Growl. Who cares if I went to sleep late today, forcing Mummy to leave without saying goodbye. Daddy arrived shortly after Mummy did and I told him all about my day, showing him how I jumped puddles, and telling him about what I'd eaten and so on. Dziadzio was still feeling sorry for himself because I hadnt cuddled him or talked to him like with Daddy. Oh well, I guess it wasn't really his fault, but what do you expect from a toddler?
