Aeroplanes
Daddy tooked me to the airoplanes again today. We were sitting in the car waiting for all the other cars to move when Daddy pointed up at men coming down slowly out of the sky! And then planes flew past - BIG planes. Eventually we moved forward and parked. Daddy put me in the stroller and we started walking. There were lots of people. Eventually we came to a nice grassy area, and among the crowds was my friend Gwinny! We were both so happy to see each other. Gwinny shared her chook with me as we sat on Daddy's big blanket. I also had a chocolate cookie, but Gwinnie was too busy eating her food to notice (I was prepared to share!). Planes flew overhead, making lots of noise. They came in ones, twos, threes, tens and sevens and ... and ... lots of them, anyway. They did somersaults just like I do! We even saw helicopters. Then we saw the "colours". Don't know what its all about but the men were walking around stiffly with these big coloured blankies while others played music. We also saw a clever dog who did tricks like jumping through fire. The bigest fun I had was playing chasey with Gwinnie! I hugged her and after she got bored with that, she ran to make me chase her. We had a lot of fun. We ran round and round. Then it got dark so that we could see Sun and Moon and Stars. Daddy and Gwinnie's Mummy-Daddy packed us all up and we said goodbye at our cars. When we got home it was nice to be snug at home with Mummy, but what fun we'd had!
